Tornado Weather Session Begins May 19th!
If I had to pick one area of meteorology that generates the most interest and questions…it would be the subject of tornadoes. Each year, we have storms that threaten tornadoes, but why do they only sometimes produce tornadoes? I’ll be answering this question and others in my next weather workshop on tornadoes.
My brother, Dr. Chris Karstens, is a researcher at the severe storms lab in Norman, OK and is an expert in the latest science on tornadoes. I’m looking forward to sharing some of the interesting thoughts he has, plus we’ll dig into some local tornado facts and history for the Sioux Falls area. Sign up today…classes begin May 19th!
The class fee is $30 per student, with additional students from the same family $25 each. The fee covers one class per week for the four week session.
