My first workshop is almost ready to go! This has been quite an adventure and I really hope this will be a fun place to learn about the weather. There is a lot of trial and error when it comes to launching e-learning workshops, but I think I have found a good mix of material that will hopefully explain a lot the weather we see!
This is some of the equipment I use to record my workshops. I keep these things mobile and handy as I work!
There are many topic areas in Weather 101. I felt this workshop needed to cover a lot of ground since it will provide the building blocks for the next few workshops I produce. It’s hard to understand thunderstorms if you don’t first discover why air rises in a thunderstorm. I’ll be teaching about tornadoes and floods soon, but knowing about low pressure, fronts, jet streams, and air masses are important subjects to learn first. Stay tuned, there’s more to come!
